Culver Academy Baseball Photos: CCHS Varsity Baseball vs. Lacrosse
This morning the Culver Community High School Varsity Baseball Team hosted a double header against Lacrosse High School. The weather was great, though it was a little chilly at the beginning of the game. I wasn’t able to stay for all of the games, but what I did watch proved that the Caveliers will be a tough opponent this season. Culver Community High School Photographer: CCHS Sport Spectacular
This evening, the Culver Community High School held its annual Sports Spectacular. This is a fun event where grades 7 through 12 compete against one another in different relays and competitions with all of the proceeds benefitting the CCHS Athletic Department. To make things more interesting, even the parents of the different grades participated and competed in a couple of the relays. Culver Academy Baseball Photos: CMA Baseball Senior Banner Photos
Today, I shot the five seniors of the CMA Baseball Team for their Senior banners that will be presented during the upcoming Culver Academies Parent’s Weekend. Following are some pictures that I ended up with before editing and submission to the company that prints and creates the banners.
Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Jennifer and Joe Wedding
This afternoon, Ginny and I traveled to a private residence between Culver and Knox to shoot the wedding of Jennifer and Joe. It had rained all morning, but we did get some outdoor shots in between the downpours of rain. The ceremony was held in doors, and Jennifer had the theme of butterflies incorporated into her wedding decorations. You’ll see a couple of those show up in the pictures.
Culver Indiana Photographer: Overton Family Shoot
As noted in the other blog entry, today, we shot the engagement photos for Desiree and Dustin who will be getting married in June. This selection of pictures includes their son Gabe, a beautiful, sweet-natured boy who loves his mom and dad. Gabe is a happy child. He wasn’t sure what the camera was all about, but his parents managed to get him to ham it up for us. His aunt Dee helped out, too, as she has a way of getting Gabe to smile.
Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Desiree and Dustin Engagement Session
Today, Ginny and I photographed newly engaged couple Dustin and Desiree. We met them a little outside of Culver on a beautiful property owned by a friend of Desiree’s. This property had some great spots for shooting, and we had a beautiful day. The sky didn’t have much color, but we made the most of the background settings, which included a pond, bridge, and wooded areas all around. We look forward to photographing Desiree and Dustin’s wedding in June.

Culver Indiana Photography: Academy Horses on Break
Today, Ginny and I decided to take a short break from work and take some pictures of the horses that were out in one of Culver Academies’ fields. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and I think the horses liked the company, though they get a little bashful around clicking cameras. Here are a handful of the shots we took. Enjoy!
Culver Indiana Photography: Sunsets and Full Moon in Culver
Yesterday and today, Ginny and I went over to Culver Academies campus and took some shots just at sunset. Tonight, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a full moon as it rose over the lake and cast a golden glow across campus. This is a collection of our shots on campus during this time of the evening when all is quiet on campus. It has been especially quiet the past two days, as the kids and faculty/staff are on Spring Break. It’s a beautiful time of the day to take a few moments to capture the quiet calm of campus and the lake. Ginny wanted to photograph all of the trees on campus. Culver Indiana Senior Pictures: Kirsten Senior Pictures
Today, Ginny and I photographed Kirsten, and senior at Culver Girls Academy here in Culver, Indiana. We had Culver’s campus all to ourselves, as students were on Spring break. Kirsten donned her Dress As, her Varsity sweater, and a casual outfit. We were impressed by how many gold As she had on her blazer! Kirsten rows for the crew team, so we took a few shots by the naval building and in the water. We had a great time with her and her mom. Thank you both for your laid back attitude and kindness. Ginny and I enjoyed meeting both of you, and we think Kirsten is as beautiful inside as she is outside. Best of luck next year in college, Kirsten!
