Indiana Hockey Photographer: CGA Varsity vs. Traverse City
This past weekend, Ginny had to do a lot of editing work, so went to my first hockey game of the season. Due to some recent traveling and a busy schedule, I’m a little late with getting to the winter sports. This past weekend, there were two home hockey games between the CGA Varisty hockey team and Traverse City U19 Girl’s Team. I went to both and enjoyed photographing the CGA girls who played great games and won both of them.

Culver Academy Hockey Photos: CGA U19 Hockey vs. Ohio Flames
This weekend, the CGA U19 Hockey team hosting a tournament with 6 teams competing on Culver Academy’s campus. Shown below are some photos from the first game that featured Culver playing against the Ohio Flames. It was a great game, even though the girls could not pull off a win. Culver Academy Hockey Photos: CGA U19 Hockey vs. Traverse City
The second hockey game of the afternoon was the CGA U19 team that played against Traverse City. The girls played well with the CGA team dominating the entire game. I’m not sure what the final score was, but with three minutes left in the game, Culver was up by 8 goals. Culver Academy Hockey Photos: CGA U19 Hockey vs. C.Y.A
Today, I shot photos for the Culver Academy Girls U19 Hockey Team; they played against C.Y.A. It was a great game. The CGA team took an early lead that they held the entire game. The girls did better than the last game that I shot at staying out of the penalty box, which was a key facor in winning the game. The final score was Culver- 3, CYA-2. Culver Academy Hockey Photos: CGA U19 Hockey vs. Victory Honda
This afternoon was the second game of the weekend that Culver’s CGA U19 Hockey team played against Victory Honda at Culver Academy’s Henderson Ice Rink. Both teams played agressively. Victory won the game 5 to 3. I’ve posted some of my favorite photos here. There are several hundred more located at www.culverphotos.com.
On a side note, the girl on the opposing team that went to the hospital in yesterday’s game has been released. I spoke with her today and she is sore and is planning on taking some time to rest, but she expects to be playing again soon. I’m sure that I speak for everyone in that we’re glad she’ll make a full recovery.

This afternoon, the CGA U16 hockey team played Victory Honda for the second time this weekend on Culver Academy’s campus. In a thrilling, fast-paced game, the Eagles could not pull out a win. Culver Academy Hockey Photos: CGA U16 Hockey vs. Victory Honda
Today was the first hockey game for the CGA U16 team. The girls played a great game thatremained 0-0 for most of the game. With only a few minutes left in the game, the Victory Honda team scored the first goal of the game. Unfortunately, the CGA girls never tied the score. Culver Academy Hockey Photos: CGA U19 Hockey vs. Victory Honda
This evening the CGA U19 Girls Hockey team played their first game of the 2009-2010 season at Culver Academy in the Henderson Ice Rink against the Victory Honda hockey team. The girls battled hard throughout the game, but they couldn’t hold off the other team. The final score was 2 to 4. During the game, a young lady on the opposing team was injured, causing a delay while waiting on EMTs. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Our prayers go out to her, her family, and her teammates. There are more photos located at www.culverphotos.com.
