Destination Wedding Photographer: Fort Lauderdale
One of our favorite people, Lyndsey, got married to a great guy (Brandon) this past July. Lyndsey and Brandon got married in Florida, so Ginny and I traveled down there for their beach wedding. It was a hot, hot day, but the beach was a great place for the wedding. When Lyndsey came “down the aisle,” all these people on the beach started to clap. Though the beach was crowded, we shot some pictures on it. One of our favorite locations was the lifeguard on duty stand. It had that Titanic look and was a creative way to get some photos. We enjoyed the wedding, as Lyndsey is special to us. We look forward to seeing her and Brandon build their life together.
Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Broadstreet Wedding
This summer, we photographed the wedding of Ryan and Jessie. They were married here in Culver. The ceremony was right in front of the lake. Jessie was all smiles all day. She and Ryan were so easy to work with and as kind as they are in love. We had a great time with them and their families. Here are a handful of pictures from that day. All are unedited, raw files.
Wish Upon A Wedding Photographer: Sally and Tom
A few weeks ago, Ginny and I traveled to Anderson, Indiana to donate our services to the Wish Upon a Wedding organization for a lovely couple, Sally and Tom, getting married this weekend. Due to confidentiality agreements, I am unable to share photos or any of the details though I am able to direct you to the official release about the engagement shoot and Sally and Tom. If you are unfamiliar with Wish Upon A Wedding, please take a few moments to read about the organization and the services that they are providing across the country. It truly is a special group that I’m proud to be a part of.

Culver Engagement Photos: Lyndsey and Brandon
This past weekend, in addition to shooting the Culver Eagles basketball game, Ginny and I shot one of our favorite people, Lyndsey Fisher, and her fiance Brandon. Lyndsey and Brandon are getting married this coming July. We’ll be traveling to Florida, as Ginny is going to stand up in the wedding with Lyndsey’s mom Jeanine and one of Lyndsey’s friends. I’ll be photographing the wedding ceremony and reception. I think these two are going to make a beautiful bride and groom. As you can tell from the pictures, they take a great picture.
Lyndsey worked for CulverLodging her junior and senior year and became more than an employee to us. She’s much like our own family. More than once I tried to chase off Brandon, but he didn’t let me shake him. I have to respect a guy who can put up with more than one of me in his life, as Lyndsey is surrounded by a lot of people who have a lot of love for her. It can’t be easy being the finance. We look forward to their wedding day and hope they like their engagement pictures. We enjoyed shooting them and giving Brandon a hard time for being an IU guy while Lyndsey is a Purdue gal.
We didn’t have the best weather conditions, but these two take a great picture. Ginny says it’s all the love going on between them and their “smiling eyes.” I tried to tell her it’s the photographer, but after looking at these pictures, I think Ginny is right. I guess I better stop giving Brandon a hard time.
Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Desiree and Dustin
Two weeks ago, Ginny and I photographed the wedding of Desiree and Dustin, a beautiful, young couple who are a lot of fun to be around and photograph. They had their reception at the Cove and wanted some specific shots on the beach. We also came up with a few other ideas. Ginny made the comment that Desiree had some of the most beautiful expressions and smile, and I couldn’t agree more. Dustin had a hard time holding back the tears. We had a blast with both of them and their friends and families. Desiree and Dustin, Ginny and I wish you both all the best in your new ventures. You both deserve the great times ahead.
Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Troy & Mallory Wedding
About a week and a half ago, Ginny and I shot the wedding of Troy and Mallory Ulch. We are still going through the pictures, editing some, cropping others, and choosing our favorites, but we wanted to post a few, so that Troy and Mallory could take a look at some preliminary shots. Most of these are before the wedding and during the ceremony, as we haven’t been through all of them yet. We had the Boys & Girls Club auction last Friday and Ginny was preparing for it all of last week. We will eventually catch up with our posts! For now, here are a few shots of Mallory and Troy. Oh, Troy is a Culver police officer if you are wondering where the handcuffs came from…
Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Jennifer and Joe Wedding
This afternoon, Ginny and I traveled to a private residence between Culver and Knox to shoot the wedding of Jennifer and Joe. It had rained all morning, but we did get some outdoor shots in between the downpours of rain. The ceremony was held in doors, and Jennifer had the theme of butterflies incorporated into her wedding decorations. You’ll see a couple of those show up in the pictures.
Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Desiree and Dustin Engagement Session
Today, Ginny and I photographed newly engaged couple Dustin and Desiree. We met them a little outside of Culver on a beautiful property owned by a friend of Desiree’s. This property had some great spots for shooting, and we had a beautiful day. The sky didn’t have much color, but we made the most of the background settings, which included a pond, bridge, and wooded areas all around. We look forward to photographing Desiree and Dustin’s wedding in June.
Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Jennifer and Joe Engagement Session
Today, Ginny and I shot engagement photos for Jennifer and Joe, a couple whose wedding we will be shooting in a few weeks. The weather was beautiful and their property in the country couldn’t have been a better backdrop for some outdoor photos. We had fun shooting the two of them as they are such a warm and friendly couple to be around. As I hope the photos reflect, Jennifer and Joe have a lot of love and respect for one another and I’m sure that their marriage will go far. Between being around them for a few hours and having our first all outdoor shoot of the Spring, Ginny and I had a great time. Ginny’s comments was, “This couple belongs together.” We love it when we see that in a couple that is about to marry.
Culver Indiana Wedding Photographer: Troy and Mallory Engagement Session
Today, we decided to give this rainy a go to get some shots of the beautiful Mallory and one of our favorites, Culver police officer Troy. Mallory and Troy are getting married in June, so we decided to wait on engagement photos for this Spring. We have had several sunny days, so we scheduled the engagement session and got rain… Still, Mallory and Troy put on some color and provided some together time for us to take a handful of pictures. They were engaged at a drive-in movie theater, which is where we plan to meet next for a photo shoot if the owners let us. We are also going to take some shots with Troy in his Culver uniform. Troy said the sweetest thing today. He said that over 70% of police officers divorced after just three years, but he and Mallory were going to beat those odds. After today, I have no doubt that will be the case.
